Veron All-Weather Rugged Case.

A crushproof, dustproof, submersible protective case engineered to keep what matters alive through water, dust, drop and fire — designed from the seal outward for the field, not the shelf.

PH /1Research & Ideation

Protection begins at the seal.

The brief was deceptively simple: a compact case that survives everything. We began where every waterproof enclosure lives or dies — the sealing line — studying the latch and hinge geometry in wireframe before a single surface was styled.

PH /2Design Development

One shell, many faces.

The rugged silhouette — recessed latches, reinforced corner bumpers, moulded rib lines — was resolved across a full colour and material range, from high-visibility safety orange to covert coyote tan and crystal-clear polycarbonate.

PH /3CAD Modelling + Engineering

Every rib, draft and seal, modelled.

The full assembly was built in CAD — shell, living-hinge lid, O-ring channel, valve housing and latch mechanism — with draft angles and wall sections tuned for injection moulding. The valve was resolved as an exploded study to verify sealing clearances before tooling.

PH /4Prototyping + Testing

Water was the easy part. Then came fire.

Prototypes were validated against rain, tide and mud in the field, then pushed far beyond spec into a fire-endurance programme — direct flame exposure at 850°C, monitored for seal integrity and contents protection.

PH /5The Outcome

Field-ready. Any field.

The Veron All-Weather Rugged Case went from concept to manufacture-ready in a single development cycle — a sealed, crushproof, fire-tested enclosure available across seven colourways, at home on a rockpool, a worksite, or a rain-soaked trail.

Final product render — red and black colourway
Field-ready — olive, closed, wet forest rock
Clear colourway — open, rocky beach

“A case you can drop off a cliff, drop in a river, and drop in a fire — and still open to find your kit dry. That was the brief. Artivo hit it.”
